Berners - Out and About !

A Walk in the park...

We are three Bernese Mountain Dogs: Kodi, Max and Murphy, and one Samoyed, Ruth, Living in Port Elizabeth,South Africa. Because we cannot master the art of opening tins, we still live at home with our humans, Mick, Sam, Linda and Ken. Every weekend, we try to take them (the humans) somewhere nice. If they are very good, we let them stop while passers by cuddle and pat us. And,of course, everyone marvels at our beauty......

These photographs were taken on two of these weekends. The first outing was a walk in St George's park. We enjoyed it very much, as there were plenty of potential cuddlers and admirers for our pleasure, and our humans enjoyed the magnificent scenery of the park. We had a wonderful time exploring the nooks and crannies in the gardens. The second place we went to, was on the sea front. We organised for the humans to stopat Shark Rock Pier and walked all along the promenade, about 2 kilometers, on acircular route, ending up at an ice cream stall, back where we started. As the humans desperately wanted ice cream, we decided to humour them and enjoyed a lick or two with them. Well, actually, we let them have a lick or two of their own ice cream, but that is part of another story?
